Overview

WeatherBridge is a daily weather app for everyday plans: when rain is likely, what to wear, when to walk, cycle or dry the washing. It keeps the previous forecast on your phone and shows what changed, such as rain arriving later or stronger gusts, comparing the highest values so short hazards are not averaged away.

Switch to Coast or Sea mode for wind and gusts, wave height and period, swell, currents, sea temperature, modelled sea level and pressure trend, checked against limits you set for a walk, a bike ride or your boat. A departure planner compares leaving now with the next three hours along the way.

Answers from the weather assistant are worked out on your phone from the saved forecast and show their source and time. Forecasts can be saved for offline use. Weather data comes from Open-Meteo.com (CC BY 4.0).

  • Hourly outlook with a temperature curve and rain chance, and a 7-day forecast with rain, wind, UV, sunrise and sunset
  • What changed: the latest forecast compared with the previous one, with highest values kept
  • Umbrella, what to wear, UV and drying advice, personalised for walking, cycling, commuting and more
  • Coast and Sea modes: wind, gusts, waves, swell, currents, sea temperature, sea level with its datum, visibility and pressure trend
  • Your own limits for an activity or boat, reported as conditions below your configured limits or the value that is over
  • Departure planner for land journeys and marine passages, with missing data and weather-model disagreement highlighted
  • Forecast notices for thunder, heavy rain, strong gusts, heat, cold, high UV, fog and rough sea, plus links to official warning services
  • Weather assistant with sourced answers and read aloud
  • Saved weather for offline use, with size shown first, cancel at any time and the forecast age always visible
  • Optional Fishing mode with sea temperature, currents and private spots kept on your phone
  • Large text, screen reader labels, high contrast, dim night theme, Reduce Motion, and metric, imperial or nautical units
