Data we store

The app stores the information you enter, including:

• Home names, floor plans, rooms, walls, doors, windows, furniture and roofs
• Tracing background pictures you choose to add
• Price lists, estimates, budgets, payments, quotes, shopping lists and upkeep notes
• Building guide steps, construction milestones, defects, inspections and their notes and dates
• App preferences (units, currency, wall thickness and theme)

This information is stored locally on your device. Android may back up app data to your backup provider or transfer it to another device according to your system settings. Files you export (home files, PDF drawings, CSV cost schedules and price lists) are saved or shared where you choose.

To remove local data, delete homes in the app, use Settings > Your data > Delete all homes on this phone, or clear app storage in Android Settings. Uninstalling removes local app data; manage any system backups and exported files separately.

Network and accounts

HomeWeave does not require an account and does not use its own server in this version. Internet access is used only to load ads.

Data sharing

HomeWeave does not send your home plans, prices, payments or notes to its own server or pass them to advertising requests. Android backup and files you choose to export or share may copy your data as described above.

Advertising

HomeWeave uses Google AdMob to display small banners on the home list and at the end of the Costs, building guide (What's next?) and construction overview screens. No ads are shown while you draw or edit a plan. To show and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy and data > Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings.

Files and pictures

Tracing pictures, home files and price lists are read only when you pick them through Android's system file picker. Exports are written only where you choose.

Permissions

HomeWeave does not request contacts, location, SMS, camera, microphone or storage permissions. It uses the internet, network state and advertising ID permissions required by Google AdMob.

Children

HomeWeave is not directed at children under 13.

Security

Your data security also depends on the device security you use (device lock, encryption, backups).
